Our day started around 830 ish, Mahka, Pa & Auntie Kim picked us up and we made a Tim stop then drove to Bruno SK why you ask???? The Bruno Cherry Festival (www.cherryfestival.ca ), very cute!!! The parade started at 1030, once we got there we were already regretting the fact that we did not bring the stroller!!! My mother spotted a garage sale (has an eye for it) and I said we shouldn't go because the boys were already ahead!!! Sure enough there is a double stroller for $5 so how could we resist!!! The parade was fantastic I do think the golf balls being given away with one of the floats was a little dangerous but.........after the parade everyone heads over to the festival we didn't stay too long it was very hot!!! We are very sad that we missed Cherry Idol and we did not have cherry pie and I didn't take a photo of a single cherry!!!! The town said that everything is behind this year so lots of events weren't on, so we are going again next year!!!!! After that we went and checked out Humbolt then took a different way home so that we could stop in Tway???? This could be a movie set for Wrong turn II or anything along those lines......a must see if your in the area, the general store sign says open since 1913 there is stuff in the store from 1913..........so crazy!!!!! Saskatchewan is very pretty!!!! What a perfect way to spend a Saturday who knows where we will head next weekend!?!?!?!?!
