Big Brother

Mark brought Max to the hospital to first meet Grady and he liked giving him a puppy he had bought but once that was done he was more interested in terrorizing the room.

We brought Grady home the next morning and by the end of the night he was trying to pick him up and play peek a boo with him, a very very happy moment for me!!!!!!

speedy finish

I think I wished for the baby to come quickly one too many times. As of Wednesday I thought I was going to be pregnant for ever!!!!!! I woke up Thursday morning on a mission I walked to Tim Horton's and Kim picked me up I did the rest of the cleaning and the laundry and wished and begged for contractions. At about 4pm some pains started and at that point I knew these were the real ones, it all came back to me way too fast. Mark and I went to the Dr. @ 5pm to see if all was well and at the beginning of the app. he said it looked like a couple of days still by the time our app. was over he told me to be ready for that night. My contractions were back to back. I thought I was going to tuff it out a home till late and then we head over to the hospital. Mark and I were at admitting by 7:30pm and my contractions were 2 mins apart. By the time we got settled in the delivery room I was 7cm and really scared and really hoping (praying begging, wishing) that I could have an epidural. I'm sure Mark's hands are still sore!!!!!! I never knew what pain really was until that night I don't know how I did it?!?!?! I had fantastic support thank god. Not even 12 hours ago I was trying to rush everything and there I was that night trying desperately to slow things down.

At 10:52pm Grady Mark McDougall was born, 8lbs 6oz. I'm sure that everyone in the west hill heard me because still today I don't have a voice........It was worth every ounce of pain and yes I would do it again (if Mark learns how to administer a epidural)

I am the luckiest women in the world I am surrounded by the cutest, sweetest boys ever

Trying to keep busy

Slow start

It seemed like everyone was on stand by for a LONG time everytime I had contractions and I told someone they would stop, as of Tuesday I was 2 cm with days to go maybe a week, not something I wanted to hear, back to walking............

Nana's little birds

Big Brother

We aren't sure what Max is thinking about all this baby talk?!? I am around 39, 40 weeks not like due dates mean anything!!!! I felt "due" a couple of weeks ago!! Max points at my belly and says baby and he has been very nice to Dayton so if this baby could just come out already we could see how Max likes being a big brother. We wonder if he thinks it will be weird when I don't have a belly. I can't wait to see them together!!! I can't wait to meet this little baby, I'm off to go for a walk a very long walk in hopes of starting Labour!!

Sincerely impatient mommy

New Fort????Maybe not

Max just had to check out the dogs little home and he didn't really like it either.

The last couple of days we have been getting ready for the baby so Max has had to watch us clean he didn't seem to mind staying in his PJ's all day, thanks Max

"Look what I can do"

Sept Long

Max and I went to the lake this weekend with Grama & Grampa it was really cold but we had to get just one more night in, plus Max got to see fireworks for the first time. It didn't really go over well he was scared but still wanted to have a peek, as long as he was in Grampas arms he was ok. On Sunday we went to check on Dad, Grampa Leo & Uncle Darren (he says uncle now, very cute) Max got to drive for a bit but we couldn't stay to watch Max doesn't get why everyone is so quiet.........
